Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel by the Nenana River. The cabin was spacious and cozy, providing breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The friendly staff were incredibly helpful with recommendations for local activities, enhancing my overall stay. However, the dining options were limited due to the off-season, and one restaurant had disappointing food quality, which was a letdown given the otherwise great experience.
Overall, my stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The location was fantastic, with easy access to Denali National Park and the surrounding shops. While I found the rooms to be a bit on the smaller side, they were well-maintained and clean. The dining options could use some improvement, as they felt a bit limited, but the staff were really accommodating and made the experience better. There are definitely some areas for enhancement, particularly regarding the parking situation and noise levels between rooms.
I recently stayed at this hotel and while the views of the river were fantastic, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The cleanliness and comfort of the place were appreciated, especially after a long day of exploring. However, the high prices for both the accommodations and dining felt a bit excessive, and the service could definitely improve. Ultimately, it was an average stay considering what we paid.
Our stay was comfortable overall, with a relaxing atmosphere and attentive staff that made us feel welcomed. However, there were some miscommunications regarding our luggage on departure that cast a shadow on the experience. The dining options were decent but not exceptional, and the room cleanliness was commendable but could use some improvements with sound insulation.
I had mixed feelings about my stay. The property itself is beautifully set along the river, providing stunning views and a cozy atmosphere. However, my room was awfully noisy, lacking air conditioning, which made for a less than restful night. The standout aspect was definitely the bar, where the staff really shone, especially Hanna, who made our evenings enjoyable with her fantastic cocktails.
This resort offers a picturesque setting right near the entrance of Denali National Park, with a rustic charm that brings the Alaskan experience to life. My room was clean and featured a nice balcony overlooking the Nenana River, making my stay quite enjoyable. However, the dining options were on the pricier side and could be better. Additionally, some guests mentioned issues with room cleanliness and comfort, particularly in older buildings, which is a downside worth considering.
I recently stayed at this hotel during an Alaskan adventure, and while the grounds were absolutely stunning, my experience was marred by a few issues. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which was a definite plus, but the room situation left much to be desired. The available amenities were decent, but it was frustrating to deal with the disorganization of the shuttle service. Overall, there were great aspects but also notable downsides that impacted my stay significantly.
My stay at the resort was quite nice, highlighted by the lovely river views and comfortable accommodations. The on-site dining was hit or miss but overall enjoyable, although it can become pricey. However, I was disappointed with the lack of air conditioning in most buildings, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with great outdoor activities and local wildlife to appreciate.
My husband and I chose to stay here for a hike but ended up with a disappointing experience. While we appreciated the professional response from the staff when things went wrong, the overall communication and organization left much to be desired. We found the restaurant options limited, and the location made it necessary to depend heavily on them. Although there were some highlights, like the quick refund process and understanding staff, the lack of effective communication really overshadowed our stay.
